Copy Cat

You Are a Yellow Crayon

Your world is colored with happy, warm, fun colors.
You have a thoughtful and wise way about you. Some people might even consider you a genius.
Charming and eloquent, you are able to get people to do things your way.
While you seem spontaneous and free wheeling, you are calculating to the extreme.

Your color wheel opposite is purple. You both are charismatic leaders, but purple people act like you have no depth.

Back again

Aunt Jocey came back to visit and it was so much fun. Nothing like a last minute trip to Pittsburgh. Needless to say, my boys were DYING for her to get here. We had a great time together and I was begging for her to stay longer. We of course went to Pamela's and went shopping. What else do we do? Eat. . . shop. . .eat. . .shop. :)

We went to the Pittsburgh Strip District and that was interesting. Fun. Jason and I had never been there so we thought it was a gre
at time to try it out. We walked the street and looked at all the different artisan shops. We did find some very tasty bread. This is where all the vendors for fresh sea food come each morning on the river and where all the foreigners sell their specialty foods. After the Strip District we headed to one of the funnest things we did. The pumpkin farm. It was great. Beautiful fall weather and lots of fun fall activities. I thought the boys would love the petting farm. Wrong. Jackson wouldn't even go in it and Noah just followed me around while I fed the nasty things. And they would not leave me alone. Anyone that knows me, KNOWS I do not like animals. Especially ones that have poop hanging off their bum fur. But I had to play "fun mom" and so the animals were fed. And I even got Noah to pet them. Purell, here we come!!!Thanks for coming to see us again Jocey. We all love you very much. And can't wait to have you come again. Maybe next time you can bring Ben with you. :) See you in a few days. (Get set. . . the boys are counting down the days until Thursday and they can see Aunt Jocey again.)

Did you see it?

Um, hello. Did you all see Wade Robson last night on "Dancing With The Stars?". I typically don't watch that show, and was flipping through the channels since NOTHING is on on Tuesday and saw a quick glance of Wade. So, I waited. And waited. And then it came. He did an AWESOME dance with several others and I loved it. He can move. That is all I have to say. Now I am all hyped for "So You Think You Can Dance" again. Too bad it is so far away. LOL!!!

The Big 2!!!

Noah turned TWO. He is the prefect fit for a two year old. Adorable, spazzy, daring, inquisitive, lively, rambunctious, exhausting, traumatic, you get the picture. And we love our Noah just the way he is. There is never a dull moment in the Smythe home when Noah is awake. And he makes me happier than ever.

We started his big day by having chicken nuggets for breakfast. Whatever he wants right? And he ate all 4 of them. That was easy. I woke up planning on making pancakes. :) After breakfast, we headed to the grocery store to get a special cookie and chocolate milk to take to the park. We played at Mt. Lebanon park for awhile and then headed to Melanie's for lunch with the girls! The kids had a GREAT time together. And lunch was fantastic. And to anyone who cares, I found a new favorite dressing. Toasted Sesame Lite. YUMMY!! Thanks Melanie for a great afternoon. My boys had a blast, as did I. This is a cute shot of 4 out of the 5 little girls born within a few months of each other. Check it out So, after the long day at Melanie's we headed home where Noah couldn't keep his eyes open. He played HARD at the park and with the kids. Noah's face was flushed and red all day. We had to go pick up the cake before we went home and Noah was OUT. Thanks Libby for all the pics you captured of him fighting the urge to sleep.Jason came home (YEAAAAAA!!! that was a long 5 weeks without Daddy) and that was the best birthday present for Noah of all.
I got the house cleaned up a bit and ready for some friends to come over for cake and ice cream. I felt bad for not planning a party for Noah so I tried my best to put one together with only a couple of hours. Last year when he turned one, we were driving to Ann Arbor and I did NOTHING for his birthday. I guess you could say the guilt was still getting to me. It was a fun little party. He got some new presents that he loves. Grandma and Grandpa really pulled through with the ever so hard to find PAT PAT LITTLE EINSTEINS ROCKET. I am still having to rip it from him for bed time. Here are the last two years in a flash:
-getting induced to have little baby Noah
-Jason turned 30 and we had a very fun surprise birthday party
-finding out I was pregnant AGAIN
-repairs on our home continually
-Jackson turned 2 and then 3
-Ellie Jane was born

-said goodbye to three of my dearest friends
-lets be honest, I just asked Jason to tell me something he thought of when I asked him what we have done the last two years. He shrugged and said, "Other than having babies?" I laughed and said, "I know. That is all I can think of too." And Jason said, "Well, that is pretty much all we have done."
