Viewer Discretion advised

I know that this a sick and nasty. I know. But I do want to share with you what I have been doing lately. Jason just happened to be holding her this time. Hence he is smiling. But for me, after the first time I DID NOT smile. And if this is making you sick, don't click on the picture to make them bigger. The second one makes me want to barf. And it looks like breast fed baby poop, but she isn't. Ahhhh, this is too much!!!I just don't know what to do about this. I am seriously down to ONE onesie left. And I think I had around 15 to start with. Maybe not 15, but at least 10. Down to ONE? And soaked through to his under clothes? That is just nasty. I am glad Jason was holding her and not me. :) This is really what has happened to me (or her, depending on how you look at it), EVERY day for the last week and a half. And don't even bother telling me to buy bigger diapers. I already did. They aren't helping. Jason suggested getting some kind of rubber pants to put on under her clothes. Do they even make that sort of thing? Not like I am considering it. Rubber pants? Sweeeeaaaaty!!! Are there better diapers for girls that I don't know about? I am using huggies and/or Kirklands from Costco. Maybe I need to change altogether. I don't know how many more of her clothes I can spare.

Oh, wow! I'm surprised Jason is smiling. Morgan definitely would not have smiled...he would have been dry heaving. Nasty. I'm not much help. I think all diapers do it. Sorry.

Nasty! I remember those blow out days. No suggestions here. Sorry I am not much help. Do you have a good stain remover?

Oh yes - this looks all too familiar. We tried the larger diaper -- big mistake, there were hidden leg holes depending on which way Cole moved or we were holding him -- allowing for seepage -- eek! Our issue was diet - we found it was something we were feeding him was causing more than usual problems / or some kind of reaction / bacterial -- now I can't remember - the mind tries to dismiss events like that. Of course with Cole it's usually one extreme to the other. Good luck. I hear that kitchen bags are adorable as attire!

That is SICK. And WRONG for you to post it. Poor Ellie. She is not going to appreciate you posting that. Usually I laugh or think your posts are cute of the kids... this time I barfed. I have no suggestions either... except maybe it's a good reason to get a new cute outfit? :)

You know with 4 kids I had to use 2 different types of diapers...some worked for boy#1 but not boy#2 and the same for the girls...keep trying different brands...Huggies were the only ones that stopped blow outs with boy #2. They come in smaller packages so you can just try them out. Also if you feed her binders (foods that harden bowel movements) like apples, bananas, rice and toast you might cut down on the amount of liquid...ew I just grossed myself out!

That is the funniest picture ever! Holy moly what are you feeding that girl?! This is one of those pictures that will come back to haunt her as a teenager. I can just see you pulling out the pic for her prom date....love it!

Oh honey, that was about the sickest thing! And I dont even know what to say about what diapers to wear, but I do feel so SO bad for you! With that and then the throw up a few days ago...

I just got caught up on your latest blogs....wow...that is a lot of poop...nasty stuff. Good to blog though!

Life as a mother...those throwing up nights are hopefully over by now, right? I am glad Jason was there to help you out...you would've been a bitter woman by morning had he been gone overnight and come home to that!

You going to buy some of that jewelry? It is super cute...

i really have no comment on this one. SICK. i can't think if Luke EVER had a blowout that bad. In your own words "eww, im going to barf"

I went through this with my baby. I just kept trying different brands of diapers until something worked (which was Huggies). Try Pampers or something else to see if they'll work. GOOD LUCK!

Oh Jana. I am so sorry, but I was laughing so hard looking at those pictures, especially because Jason is smiling with poop all over him. I wish I could help with your little problem. Good luck, maybe I will pray for you!

Claire goes through blow out spurts, and I have tried everything. SOmetimes it's just the shear force that pushes all that goodness in every direction. Man, she must have serious power. I am not envious! GOod luck!

Between the throwup and the poop, you've pretty much convinced me to not have any more kids! Did Jason love standing and waiting while the poop dribbled down his skin while you went for the camera? :)

um, YUCK!!!! I had one of those yesterday, though not as bad. It was all over her, but only a little bit on me. Oh, the joys of motherhood. Good yuck, I mean luck.

Jana, this is not helping me decide to have children. That is disgusting!

I can't believe you posted that!!! DISCUSTING!!!!! Ellie is going to FREAK when she hears about this later on in life. You posted her poo-cano for the world to see!!! Why is that happening anyway? I doubt it's the diaper.

Wow, that's some good stuff there. Knock on wood, we've yet to have a blowout here. Is she having applu juice? If so, stop.

You so did not do a "good" job in warning about the second picture!! Sicko!
Oh my, I am sorry - no help from me. Luckily for me, Hudson has only had ONE blow out, and it was minor minor. She just has a good metabolism, I guess?!

oh sick!!! i feel for you big time! that is so strange that all of a sudden this has started happening. you could try using overnight huggies...those are the best! but i am not too sure it has anything to do with the diaper. they do make plastic diaper covers (like panties). however they are impossible to find. i tried with jack- not too hard but i tried and couldn't find them. hey if they keep the poop in it's worth it!

so when are we going to hang out- i have a week until my mother-in-law comes!

I don't think Ellie will mind those pictures when she is older. I think she will laugh that she got her dad covered in pooh. All babies pooh- fact of life.

I used Luvs with Claire and Huggies with Morgan. I think I have better luck with Huggies. But I agree- maybe if you tried different food.

i am throwing up in my mouth! That has got to be from something you are feeding her! Make it STOP!

Holy crap! Is that what I have to look forward too? Seriously, everyday for a week and a half? Good thing she's so cute!

I just TOTALLY grossed Ben out by showing him this post. Call me because it was hilarious and I have to tell you about it.

lovely!! I definitely feel you pain...Ava has a thing for storing up her poops for about 5-6 days then letting is all out at once...and when that happens you'd better watch out...inta-blow out! I think girls tend to have more blow outs b/c they don't have anything "extra" down there to hold the poop in place...that's just my professional opinion though!

Been there a few times yuk! Once it was so bad I called Rhett in for back-up and he stepped into the room looked at the huge poopy mess smiled and ran down the hall. What a wuss! I wish Pampers made their swaddlers in larger sizes I miss them they were the best diapers.

Hey Jana. This is Jocelyn's friend Michelle again. So we had the same problem with Tay using the Huggies from Costco. We switched to the pampers in the green box and have had no more problems. Isn't it the WORST feeling when it goes through your clothes and you can feel it on your leg?? NASTY!

Yuck! Yuck! Yuck! I am amazed at the look on Jason's face. He seems all to happy about this occasion. Hope you had some luck with that one...I probably would have thrown it all away. I still have yet to find good stain removers. WE use Luv's diapers, which I really like because they hold a lot and are also somewhat thin and not too bulky. You might give it a try.

1. I'm laughing that you throw your onesies away instead of just throwing them in some bleach water.

2. You are definitely doing something wrong. Can't help you, just wanted you to know that you are are definitely messing up the diaper thing somehow. : )

Aren't I a good friend??

Gross! Thanks for sharing, Jana. That happened with Patrick, too, but huggies supremes helped a ton. I guess you're already using huggies, though. So, good-luck finding those plastic pants. :) I think my mom had a couple pairs when I was growing up. Maybe she still has them...that would be even more disgusting!

That is too funny! Our Olivia was that way too. Rich and I would see her starting to go, and rush her to the bathroom where we would strip her down and hold her over the tub or toilet...depending on the amount of time we had. At one point, we tried size 4 diapers on her size 2 frame..funny looking and they didn't work! They do grow out of it...eventually! :-) Until then, happy scrubbing!
