Today I went to take the van to get the oil changed. While there, Noah had to go to the bathroom twice. And since I seem to always have to use the restroom as well, I used the bathroom each time he went. While in the restroom Noah asked to see my belly.
I lifted the bottom of my shirt and showed him my ever growing expanse. The first and only response he gave me was, "Oh Mom, your belly button looks like a mountain!"
Imagine what he thinks about my actual stomach? So, first I have chubby arms and now this? A mountain for a belly button? I had to laugh at him. And in all honestly, he's is right. :)

When I was 6 months pregnant, we were on a road trip and had to stop a zillion times for me to go to the bathroom. Deaven, with all the wisdom of a 6 year old, said, "Mom, can't you just wear a pull up!?"

Last time I saw you pregnant you were the cutest thing and I was jealous you could still wear your sexy boots at the end. When I was preg I looked like the stay puff marshmellow man. So my sexy boots were retired at 6-months and flip flops were it for the rest of the time.
Thankfully, when our children say things like that, it's funny! It's fun to hear things from their perspective. Although, I highly doubt your belly button (or any other part of you for that fact), looks like a mountain!

Jana, we went to the Real Salt Lake Soccer game last night. A highschool marching band came...along with their flag twirlers (is that the correct term?) Anyway, I thought of you and pictured you doing your routine. Laughed a lot. So I was wondering...you know how Cheerleaders have cheer camps, well do flag girls have flag camp? Just wondering. :) Ha ha
