ouch!

Today I had a dr. appt. Everything looks fine. As it should. I still have 8 weeks to go so nothing major was checked. But as I am leaving and still thinking about how I had to get weighed again (I always hate that part) and how I keep getting bigger and how the more I gain the more I have to loose and blah blah blah. . . I am getting out of the elevator and this older man says to me, "Twins or triplets?"

WHAT??

I quickly replied, "Nope, just one." Idiot.

So far all you big liars of friends that keep telling me, "Oh you look so good. . . it's only your little belly. . .blah blah blah. . . "

Someone begs to differ with you. And old grey haired man.

Oh man, I am so sorry bit I had to laugh! I wish you'd post a pic of your "huge" belly and i'll be the judge. I bet you look adorable as always. You always feel bigger than you look. You are getting so close, i'm way excited for you!

WHAT?! Ooh...so sorry Jana but that is funny!

But really, what does an old gray-haired man know, anyway? Idiot.

who says that??? The old guy probably had his magnifying glass on or else his stupid cap= either way, you in no way look like you are carrying triplets or twins!

pretty lame. I'm sure you do look good.

My brother (pete) was just accepted to University Michigan law school and I think his wife is a little nervous about moving to Ann Arbor. I might pass along your email address so that you can tell them how wonderful it is and hook them up with some people you know there b/c I think they're going to go visit Michigan in a couple of months. It would be wonderful if you can help them get stoaked about Michigan. WE're buckeyes so we've been trash talking Michigan for years (though I'm sure it's a great place)!

Oh brother. Guys don't know anything, especially old senile ones.

8 weeks?! 6 weeks for me. I guess I didn't realize we're only 2 weeks apart. I am SOOOOOOO ready!

2 things: 1. love the new blog decor. so cute. 2. an old man did the same thing to me when I was at about the same place in my pregnancy. I'm sure that's not much of a comfort, but still, what a jerk. :)

Uhhh, I was just asked a few weeks ago when my baby was due. My baby was due ten months ago. Ouch.

Unbelievable. I would have kicked him in the crotch and walked away--even if he was old! Or that's what I would have imagined myself doing. You just don't mess with pregnant women!

that sucks. count your blessing though, at least you're pregnant.

that guy is completely nuts! grumpy old men! you seriously do not look like you are carrying more than one. you are a copletely normal sized 32 weeks pregnant woman!

I seriously doubt you look that big, he's probably vision impaired, he was old!

Pretty sure a Walgreens clerk at Waterfront said the exact same thing to me and was so surprised by my "no just one" response that I had to remind her that I would like to check out. I half wanted to cry, half wanted to slap her, but mostly was so sleepy I just shrugged it off. So you still look great! People are absurd.
