Shift worker

Jason told me he overheard the boys playing last night and this is what they were saying.

Noah:
"Ahhh, Father Bear, why can't I go to work with you?" (They love Little Bear).

Jackson: "You know. You can never come to work with me when I have to go to work in the middle of the night."

Sounds like they were playing house or something like that.

Jason thinks it is sad that they think their dad is a "shift worker" and works grave yards here and there. But I hate to break it to you Jason. . . you sort of were for awhile. I am glad those days are over.

bummer about jason not being a shift worker anymore- I will miss the middle of the night 911 stories.

Funny when kids pick up stuff from "work". Once when Peyton spilled her milk at the table, she said, "I know, I'm fired." :)
Hope you are feeing great-ish!

Funny! I love listening to Gavin and his friends when they are doing pretend play. They can come up with some pretty interesting stuff.

I heard the girls upstairs role playing and they were talking about giving birth and breastfeeding...no more girl's nights or baby showers for them!!

I loved your post about your BO kitchen and freezing temps....I can totally relate! It is hard being cooped up inside all day long and having the kids run amuck b/c of nothing else better to do!

Did you get your pipes back in working order?

When are you coming to visit?
